Herdsmen: Pastor Enenche blows hot, says no governor should give land for cattle colony

Paul Enenche

At a time the Presidency is calling on locals to rather yield their ancestral lands for the Federal Government’s cattle ranching policy than have a continuation of killings from conflicts, Senior Pastor of Dunamis church, Dr. Paul Enenche has warned state governors in the country against giving out lands for an earlier proposed cattle colony.

Speaking during Tuesday evening’s prayer session at the Headquarters of the  Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, he stated that rather than collect lands for cattle colonies, the government should create colonies for spare part dealers, cocoa farmers across the country.

Enenche told congregants, “Nobody shall give out our land for cattle colony to herdsmen. If you dare it you will see what God will do.

“If they want to give colonies they should give it to spare part dealers, cocoa farmers and until they do that, cattle colony shall not happen.

“All this useless, deceitful, bigotry and lopsided laws will all be reversed one by one, no governor is governor enough to give anybody’s father’s land to other people in the name of cattle colonies. It will not happen.

“This is the time for everybody to rise up and defend the faith, you don’t just sit in the judiciary, National Assembly like that and see inequality and religious oppression just like that.”
